I have a serious love for food and cooking I enjoy every aspect of it. I named this blog Accidentally Delicious because a lot of the time I dont know what I'm doing but I try my hardest and somehow it comes out delicious (sometimes)! I'm not the best cook but I am surrounded by some of the best, if you ever have the pleasure of eating my mother's or mother in laws food you will know what I'm talking about. My family is full of amazing cooks and honestly I am very intimidated by them but I use that as a motivation to become a Lopez/Serrano famous cook!

The main reason I started this blog is because as my New Year resolution for 2012 I wanted to try a new recipe every week. I set my goal to something realistic - things that I have on hand and in the pantry at all times - this way I could expand my daily menu but also keep it simple. I am not much of a "blogger" because my life is not very intresting so I didn't know if this was the right thing for me but with a few supporters I think this will help me stay organized with my recipes and try something new, so here we go! I hope you all enjoy this and feel free to leave comments or thoughts.

Side note - My husband is a fat person trapped in a small man's body. I love my husbands desire for food he eats with intense gumption, he does not only LOVE food but he has a sick obsession with it and cooking for him is where my main reason for the love of cooking comes from! All of my cooking has to have the stamp of approval by him to make me know it was truly delicious. So you will see his stamp of approval next to the recipe if it's any good.

  2. I love it! I have had the pleasure of tasting your Mom's cooking and indeed she is a fine cook. I am looking forward to reading and following you on your cooking endeavors. I'm so excited, I've never followed a blogger nor knew one, I feel kinda cool. :) enjoy the ride!

Our families are based around the dinner table we both came from families that love to get together and eat. Literally that's all we do, and amazing conversations come out of these dinners. I think this is why we are the way we are, our love for food comes from our parents, and for that I thank them.
